A Court

innocent child going through the family court system due to abuse
and/or neglect by parent(s) or guardian(s).

Westmoreland, Inc. is in need of
volunteers who may not have the time to be an advocate for a child, but
who can help CASA in other ways. Many community members help CASA by
assisting with fundraising events, office assistance, or use of other

Donate Gas Cards
Gas Cards
help our volunteers offset the cost of their advocacy for children.
CASA volunteers are not reimbursed for their mileage, but this service
assists volunteers who have to drive long distances.
Donate Gift Cards
When
a CASA child is in need of items (school supplies, clothing, etc. )
CASAs want to help. However, CASA volunteers do not purchase gifts
directly for the children on their case loads. Gift cards from various
retailers will assist volunteers in making purchases to assist children
in getting items that they need.

Plates with Purpose
Riverside Design Group and Plates With
Purpose™ feature a number of designer plates benefiting non profit
organizations. CASA’s plate features two trees, one full-grown and the
other a seedling, which immediately calls to mind the wonderful
children’s book The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. The story, about
the sacrifices a tree makes to help a young boy, is a fitting metaphor
for the work of a CASA volunteer. The plate, which is made here in
Western Pennsylvania from recycled glass, is shipped in recycled
materials, is microwave and dishwasher safe, and is a beautiful
representation of CASA’s work. Proceeds from the purchase of this plate
directly benefit CASA of Westmoreland, Inc. to support our program in
advocating for abused and neglected children in Westmoreland
County. Download
